There are plenty of sights to be found in the Portuguese capital Lisbon. Consider, for example, the Monastery Mosteiro dos Jerónimos. The monastery was built in honor of the return of explorer Vasco da Gama, after his death he is buried in the monastery. On the banks of the Tagus is the famous defense tower Torre de Belém.
On the highest hill in the city, stands one of the most famous tourist attractions on the Tagus: Castelo de São Jorge.
