Cazalla de la Sierra Route
The largest and most famous town in this region is Cazalla de la Sierra, where this route is also named after. During Roman rule, Cazalla became a mandatory passage of the Ruta de la Plata. It was in the Muslim era when Cazalla changed into the city we know today, leaving a formidable door as a reminder of that time that is formed by two horseshoe arches giving access to the parish church today.
The roads along the way are fantastic, nature unspoilt and especially the curves are countless. The rolling and winding roads take you to beautiful authentic white villages that seem to be hidden in this nature park.
