Desert Tabernas Route
Description region
Tabernas, about 30 km north of the city and coast of Almería and about 80 km north-west of the city of Guadix, lies the last stretch of desert in Europe.
In this spectacular landscape you will find impressive rocks, canyons, dry river beds and here and there a palm tree and cacti.
Many unique shooting locations and movie sets can still be found in this unique area, such as from the three Spaghetti Western films directed by Sergio Leone, titled A Fistful of Dollars (1964), For a Few Dollars More (1965) and The Good, the Bad and the Ugly (1966)
And not to be missed Once upon a time in the West.
